Modular robot comes in. It can be assembled like Lego

The Verge Chinese Station reported on August 28th

Robots, some people like it, some people hate it, and even some people fear it because of the fear of future robots occupying the Earth. Regardless of your feelings about the machine, but everyone should agree that the development of the robot is by no means a simple matter, unless you have a very professional hardware and software program background knowledge.

If the robot can also be equipped with ready-made components like Lego bricks, we only need to use our imagination to assemble it. Isn't it cool? Currently, there is a project called "CellRobot" module robot on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter, which can do it all. ?

According to the description on the crowdfunding website, CellRobot contains different kinds of modules that users can assemble to create different types of robots. Specifically, each CellRobot contains a "heart" ball and multiple "unit" balls, the former providing the energy needed for the machine to run and Bluetooth components that can be assembled. Each "unit" ball contains two rotating hemispheres that can twist and move the CellRobot back and forth. In addition, CellRobot can also configure wheels, cameras and other components to make it more versatile.

CellRobot works with iOS and Android apps to allow users to control the movement of different "unit" balls on their phones or tablets. However, the current CellRobot function is limited to simple walking and rotation, lacking touch and light sensors like other advanced robots.

However, CellRobot is also an option for users who want to create their own unique robots. At present, the project has landed on the Kickstarter website. Supporters can purchase this robot kit at a minimum price of 155 US dollars (about 1034 yuan). (Compilation: Newsboy)
