The new communications and entertainment system, the Ford SYNC® 3, uses the OMAPTM 5 processor from TI's “Jacinto†automotive processor family, and integrates high-performance Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth® 4.0 and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). WiLinkTM 8Q platform and TI's power management and FPD-Link III serializer/deserializer (SerDes) wired connectivity solution.
