Cree has announced the commercial start of warm white and neutral white XLampXP-GLEDs with color temperatures between 2600K and 5000KCCT. These award-winning XP-GLEDs have helped Cree once again refresh the highest light output and efficiency records across the entire white spectrum. In turn, LEDs will be replaced by low-efficiency light bulbs, and the development of general lighting applications such as outdoor and commercial lighting.
The most energy-efficient neutral white and warm white LED
Warm white light (3000K) XLampXP-G delivers up to 114lm of luminous flux and 109lm/w of high luminous efficiency at 350mA drive current. Assuming 1.0A drive current, XP-G warm white LED can provide up to 285lm of luminous flux and 84lm/w of light efficiency, so that under the same efficiency, XP-G warm white LED light output is higher than the current highest level. The XLampXR-E warm white LED is four times higher.
Neutral white light (4000K) XLampXP-G delivers up to 139lm of luminous flux and 132lm/w of high luminous efficiency at 350mA drive current. Assuming a 1.5A drive current, XP-G neutral white LEDs provide up to 463lm of luminous flux, so that under the same efficiency, XP-G neutral white LEDs have four times the light output of XLampXR-E cool white LEDs. .
