Analysis: The post-PC era notebook task

Market research firm Gartner released a research report on Thursday that the notebook can not meet the needs of the era of social networking. So, can mobile PCs like Xoom and iPad transform into large-size smartphones? The answer is yes.

In the near future, this trend will prompt Apple to seriously consider the built-in 3G/4G capabilities in the future Air Series notebooks. Apple's investigation of the addition of 3G to the future MacBook Air has indicated that Apple is working on this task. Battery life also needs improvement.

What will be the fate of the Internet? Netbooks provide mobility, but battery life is not good, nor does it support 3G, and performance is not high. Netbooks have led the trend of the times, but Intel's definition of netbooks is too fine, which hinders its development.
