TC9153 is a CMOS high-fidelity volume control integrated circuit introduced by Toshiba Corporation. The characteristic of this circuit is low power consumption, the current is about 1 ~ 3mA. Low distortion, THD≤0.005%. The volume attenuation range is 0 ~ -60dB, every 2dB is a step. The volume is controlled by buttons, and the shortcomings of traditional potentiometer such as short service life and high noise are changed.

The circuit is shown in the figure above, the pre-stage signal is input from pins (3) and (14), and the volume after control is output from pins (6) and (11). AN1 and AN2 are volume increase / decrease control, and each press changes 2dB. It is best to shield the entire circuit after production to prevent noise interference
