Design of an Energy-saving Intelligent Control LED Lighting IoT System

This paper focuses on the composition, application and implementation of energy-saving intelligent control LED lighting IoT system, with office or residential lighting as the control platform, with solar photovoltaic power generation, network communication, information appliances, equipment automation integration system, structure , service, management, and control to create an efficient, comfortable, safe, convenient, and environmentally friendly office or residential lighting environment.

I. Introduction

LED lighting has entered people's work and life. With the awareness of energy-saving and environmental protection and clean energy lighting and the characteristics and control methods of LED lighting itself, the demand for higher lighting levels is promoted, and the rapid development of new lighting industry is promoted. : Lighting is more energy-saving and controllable, low-carbon, safe and reliable; stylish personality, to meet the unique needs of different users; easy management, through the operation panel, computer, mobile phone, IPOD, remote control and other login network to control office or residential lighting. More importantly, the lighting environment can provide better and healthier intelligent services for people's work and study and rest through the control of light and darkness or light color. At the same time, the system also has a platform for information feedback and communication, which enables people to exchange lighting application control information on the platform while enjoying the lighting environment, thereby expanding the application of energy-saving and intelligent LED lighting, and expanding the whole society to clean and reduce energy. The focus of energy-saving lighting concepts that consume and reduce emissions, and to better protect our lovely earth home.

Second, system composition and application principle

The system consists of four sub-systems, which are solar photovoltaic power supply and regulation system, LED lighting drive and control system, dimming and color adjustment intelligent control system and IoT host computer centralized control and information feedback platform system.

(1) Solar photovoltaic power supply and regulation system

Solar photovoltaic power supply and regulation system, including solar panels, battery packs, computer-controlled charging and power supply systems, voltaic power generation system data acquisition and regulation power supply control and networking with the host computer. This part uses solar photovoltaic power to power the office or home LED lighting system. At the same time, when the continuous cloudy solar photovoltaic power generation is not enough, the system automatically adjusts to use the mains to ensure normal lighting.

Set the maximum power output point tracking of the solar photovoltaic power generation system, monitor the working condition of each solar cell by using the sensor network node, including the curve of output current, voltage and power change, and summarize the information to the upper computer monitoring software, and analyze Various data to achieve maximum output power tracking of solar cells and improve the working efficiency of solar cells. For the battery pack working parameter detection system, the temperature is detected by a single bus temperature sensor, the current is detected by the current transmitter, and the data is uploaded to the host computer through the CAN bus, and processed and displayed by the master controller. The module address data is generated by setting hardware switches or jumpers on the module, and then read and stored in the RAM by the MCU through the I/O port, which is convenient for reading and calling.

(2) LED lighting drive and control system

LED lighting drive and control system, this system is divided into main body illumination and auxiliary lighting. The main body illumination has dimming, color grading function and a variety of light mode combinations, which makes the ambient light more comfortable and can also make more changes. To adapt to different situations. In the morning, the light in the office can be made fresher. In the afternoon, a faint light blue light will be emitted, but this kind of light can stimulate people's enthusiasm for work. In the evening, guests may need brighter lights when they visit and talk, and enjoy classical music. When playing music or light music, the soft light will automatically appear more comfortable and smooth after being controlled by the sensor. In addition, natural lighting and LED lighting can be automatically integrated during the day to achieve the best lighting effect, so that energy efficiency is maintained at an optimal level.

These are dynamic changes in the lighting effect, essentially controlling the change in the current of the LED. We know that the reason why LEDs are more suitable for control than traditional light sources is that the response is fast linear, fast, spectral color temperature is adjustable, safe and separable. At this stage, many companies at home and abroad have invested in research on LED driver control ICs, and most of them have compatibility and control interfaces. Circuit design trends are also moving toward centralized control, standard modularity, and control system scalability. This makes it very convenient to control the light source of the LED lamp.
