Modification method:
1. Replace the high-power bulb - just replace the original 55/60W (H4) ordinary halogen bulb with a 90/100W high-power bulb. The rest does not need to be changed. It is the most common and simple. Modification method. The principle is to change the original relatively small bulb to a relatively large bulb.





2. Add a headlight brightener - headlights to increase the light or brighten the line. The essence is to add light between the headlights and the battery to reduce the voltage loss of the line, so that the voltage at both ends of the headlight is close to the voltage of the battery, and the effect of adding light is small.
3. Modified Xenon headlights - Xenon headlights, ie HID gas discharge lamps, which are mainly composed of xenon bulbs and ballasts. Ballasts are also known as high voltage generators or gas discharge rectifiers. The HID lamp also has a set of mechanical attachments for transforming the near and far light for the combination of far and near light. Unlike traditional halogen bulbs, HID bulbs have no filaments. The gap between the two poles of the bulb is 4mm. The positive and negative high voltages are used to stimulate the reaction of radon with rare metals. This is called gas discharge. Its light-emitting principle is that the ballast instantaneously boosts the 12V DC voltage on the car to a high voltage of 23000V. The gas medium in the high-voltage breakdown lamp generates a discharge arc and emits a brilliant high color temperature light; after the high voltage causes the lamp to start, then The ballast converts the voltage to 83V, and the steady supply of the xenon bulb is illuminated, keeping the HID lamp running at a constant power.

Installer and considerations
1. The program for modifying HID headlights is also relatively simple, generally divided into the following 7 steps:
1 After the engine is completely cooled, remove the headlight lamp connector, waterproof rubber cover and old bulb;
2 Take out the HID lamp kit, carefully check and install the HID bulb on the lamp holder of the headlight lamp to replace the original lamp;
3Re-drill a small hole in the back of the original lamp waterproof rubber cover, take out the HID bulb harness, and make sure that the waterproof ring and the rubber cover are well sealed, and then fix the HID bulb;

4 Connect the ballast input terminal (12V DC power supply) to the power supply end of the vehicle headlight luminaire. Some need to connect +12V and ground separately, and connect the output of the ballast to the connector of the bulb;
5 Check the installation steps, confirm that the positive and negative poles are correct, start the vehicle, turn on the power to make the light;
6 Check the height, distance and shape of the beam emitted by the light source and adjust it to meet the traffic regulations;
7 Fix the ballast in a suitable position for ventilation, heat dissipation, and secure connection. The modification of Xenon headlights is a relatively mature and easy modification. The key is to fix the various components. It does not need to change the original car line. At most, it is necessary to connect two power and ground wires at most.

2. Things to note are:
1 The ballast must be installed far away from the heat source such as the engine or the water source such as the water tank. Otherwise, excessive humidity will cause leakage and aging of the ballast. The stability of the ballast installation will also have a good effect on the use of the HID lamp. Great influence

2 Do not install the ballast in a place where the car is overheated. It is best to place it in a position with good ventilation and heat dissipation.

3 The high-voltage wire part of the ballast is not easy to be entangled, so as not to affect the insulation or generate an excessive magnetic field, thereby affecting other electrical equipment of the automobile;
4 The focal length of the light should be adjusted to the proper position, and the lamp bowl should be fixed. Otherwise, it is very likely to cause astigmatism or illuminate the car's line of sight, posing a safety hazard.
