When Zhao was suspected of being the head of the SMD equipment development team in May last year, the information obtained from the SMD staff and the core technology related to the enlargement of the OLED panel recorded in his business manual were leaked to LGD by e-mail. .
Zhao was also suspected of colluding with SMD staff at the office of the LG partner in January this year. He held a briefing to introduce the technology stolen from SMD and leaked the technology to LGD's partner company.
Due to friction in organizational operations, Zhao resigned from SMD in October last year, and LG promised to arrange Zhao to work at LG as a return to the leak technology. However, due to repeated delays in the appointment, Zhao also contacted Chinese companies in an attempt to leak technical information overseas.
The five Samsung predecessors and current researchers who helped Zhao leaked technology also moved to LG in May-December last year.
LGD specializing in Zheng et al. in October 2010 asked Zhao and others to write a report on the problems and improvement plans of LG technology, and was suspected of receiving the core technology of SMD from Zhao.
LG said in the police investigation stage that LG and Samsung have different OLED technologies and have not obtained information from Samsung researchers. However, the prosecution found that Zheng and others did obtain information from Samsung researchers and prosecuted the suspects on the 13th.
